Yukon is a a city in Canadian County, Oklahoma. It is a part of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan area and contains a population of about 22,709 residents. It was founded in the 1890’s, and the town’s name is in reference to the Yukon Gold Rush that ocurred in the Yukon Territory in Canada at the time.
